Profane Existence The Twats vs. C.E. - One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall 7" - 2005 - Overdose On Records
The Twats start this out with some straight hardcore punk rock, sneering vocals and an ever so slightly Bad Brain-ish guitar solo on the last song. They
sound like a more hardcore, less street punk Blanks 77 or a faster Disrespect with fewer male vocals, plus they have a song on here about how we do in
Philly. Thanks to this record I have been informed that we "don't fuck around." Holla! Common Enemy are all about the skateboarding. They play thrashy hardcore
with screeching vocals reminiscent of a higher pitched version of the 9 Shocks Terror dude. The two bands compliment each other well. (Hazel)

The Chains That Grind Us The Twats vs. C.E. - One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall 7" - 2005 - Overdose On Records
I don't listen to much punk rock but I love me Twats. Featuring members of Die Cheerleader Die and The Overpriviledged,
this band combines the raw elements of punk rock with solid guitar work that kinda gives this a hardcore vibe without being
hc. Marni, their singer has such a cool voice, almost operatic at times. Did I mention how the guitar work is? The next side
comes in the form of skate-worship by PA's CE who unleash four songs of fast hc/punk. If you're unfamiliar with CE you
gotta get any of their releases: the vocals are somewhat high and almost vomited which can at times give the band more
of a punk feel, but as soon as the fast kicks in then it's more chaotic. (Mough)

Short Fast and Loud The Twats vs. C.E. - One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall 7" - 2005 - Overdose On Records
Two speedy as hell punk bands from PA team up for a shit-faced fight to the death!! CE take their brand of skate-core to
the max here with four distorted bouts of young enthusiastic vitriol. Always good to hear from these thrashers. THE TWATS
carry on with some similar fast punk, fronted by a great female shouter and straight forward hardcore tinged lunacy.
